Haven is a licensed, recovery-oriented level 5 mental health facility that supports adult men diagnosed with a serious and persistent mental health disorders. Haven is part of the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority’s Residential Care program and referrals are accepted through the WRHA community mental health program.
Residents of Haven can live for up to 2 years in the program and are provided daily life skills workshops. These workshops serve to foster residents’ independence, build on strengths and facilitate the journey towards a healthy, successful future.
Haven residents are supported on a 24/7 basis by trained, dedicated and compassionate staff. Haven staff collaborate with residents’ clinical teams to ensure a holistic, appropriate and individualized care plan is created that is in line with resident needs and identified aspirations.
